It's a yearly ritual for Texas Longhorns basketball to participate in an early-season tournament and the 2016-17 season will be no exception, as the Longhorns were announced as a participant in the 2016 Legends Classic, which will take place November 21-22 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The other schools that will participate in the Championship Rounds include Notre Dame, Colorado, and Northwestern. Each school will host a regional game at home before heading to Barclays for the finals. The schools providing fodder at the host sites are Eastern Washington, Bryant, Louisiana Monroe, and Seattle.

And here's the ticket information:

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, April 2 at 11 a.m. Central (Noon Eastern) for the Championship Rounds of the 10th annual Legends Classic men's basketball tournament. Tickets may be purchased by calling TicketMaster at 800-745-3000 or through Ticketmaster.com. Tickets also are available at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center.

ESPN will televise all four games in the Championship Rounds.
