The UT Tower will be lit up tonight in honor of the Texas Longhorns men's and women's track and field teams. The tower, which is lit up for conference championships by any 'Horns sports team, will glow burnt orange thanks to both squads winning at the 2016 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, along with a victory by the women's team at the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship back in February.

Not only did both the men and women come away as champions, the Longhorns are now the first school in Big 12 history to win the outdoor championship meet in back-to-back years. Both teams also own the most championships of any school in the conference, 10 for the women and seven for the men.

The teams will take a group photo at the Littlefield Fountain at 8:30. Lights go on at 8:45.
