While Shane Buechele's other half is in California making one-handed back-flip catches, the Texas Longhorns freshman quarterback is enjoying the lake life in Texas while hitting deep balls to his friend on a jet ski. Driving dead away from him. Now that's timing:

The prospective starter at quarterback for the Longhorns is known for his accuracy in shorter distances and his gym rat tendencies -- he's always hanging around the Texas football offices with Collin Johnson, his aforementioned other half -- but this is some serious arm strength for a guy who is generously listed at 6'1.
So, yeah, he can make a lot of throws.
Buechele also draws a lot of comparisons to former star quarterback Colt McCoy because of his stature and accuracy, but the claim here is that Buechele's video is better than McCoy hitting best friend/roommate Jordan Shipley on a boat driving across his face instead of away from him.
And it's just another reminder that this is the Summer of Shane and we're just living in it.
