Tonight, 60 former college basketball standouts will realize their dreams as NBA franchises handpick the next crop of professional talent. If reports prove true, LSU’s Ben Simmons will become a Philadelphia 76er as the first name on the board, which is expected to be followed by Duke’s Brandon Ingram heading to the new-look Los Angeles Lakers seeking a new identity after Kobe Bryant’s legendary 20-year reign. After that ... all hell likely breaks loose.
In a draft that’s known more for it’s depth than it’s upside, it will be interesting to see where some of college basketballs biggest names land, as well as if we’re be seeing former Texas Longhorns Prince Ibeh and Isaiah Taylor celebrate a dream coming true.
Who deserves to be the top pick? Where would you like to see some of your favorite college talents call home after tonight? Let’s talk about it.
