Vincent, the nation’s No. 17 cornerback, has compiled an offer list consisting of 32 programs from across the nation, including Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Alabama and the favorite, LSU.
Texas has never been considered the favorite for the in-state Port Arthur product, but rather, seemingly remained a team on the outside looking in towards what may become a two-horse race between LSU and Alabama over the next two weeks. Excluding Texas commit Kobe Boyce, Vincent is the top-ranked Longhorns cornerback target on the board and outside of a surprise in favor of Charlie Strong’s program, Texas will be shifting its focus elsewhere July 10.
