Texas hosted one of the top talents in the state yesterday, as four-star shooting guard Jarrett Culver unofficially visited the Forty Acres.
ESPN 100 guard Jarrett Culver was on Texas' campus yesterday. Has also been to Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor. All four are in strong pursuit.

The nation’s No. 80 overall player and No. 8 player in Texas saw his recruitment heat up following an impressive showing during his Nike EYBL debut with Pro Skills, in which he averaged 18.3 points and five rebounds throughout three games. Following that effort, offers from Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M, among others, poured in, now giving the Lubbock product an offer list consisting of 14 programs.
After sitting out the past two months with a hip fracture, that’s an offer list that’s likely to increase and add even more prominent programs. For now, Texas Tech may be the team to beat. The hometown team has shown interest from day one and Culver has visited the Red Raiders several times already, much like Jarrett Allen from Austin did with the Longhorns before ultimately inking with Shaka Smart.
Burnt Orange Nation caught up with Culver to discuss his visit to Austin, so stay tuned for his comments.
