Last season, Texas and Michigan squared off in the Bahamas in a game that saw the Wolverines hold the lead down the stretch en route to a 78-72 victory. The previous meeting came in the third round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, in which Michigan ended Texas’ season after a 79-65 win.
In three total meetings, Michigan leads the all-time series 2-1, a record Shaka Smart would like to even up over the next two seasons.
