Five-star Kennedale outside linebacker and Texas Longhorns priority target Baron Browning has set a commitment date, as the Nation’s No. 8 player will decide between a handful of prominent programs November 29, per ESPN:

In addition to Texas, UCLA, Alabama, Ohio State and TCU, as well as Michigan, are all firmly in the mix for Browning’s services and have the entire 2016 season to continue pursing the elite prospect.
It’s believed that Texas, UCLA and Ohio State are the frontrunners for Browning’s services, but there’s more than enough time to see his recruitment shift in favor of anyone still in contention. Alabama could seemingly have the last word with Browning scheduled for an official visit November 26, but availability may be Nick Saban’s crutch in Browning’s recruitment as the Tide already have 21 commits; three of which are linebackers.
For Texas, the key to keeping Browning in state will be a successful season on the field. Browning’s interest in the Longhorns is well-known and he’s already been on campus a few times; most recently for Under the Lights. Browning will enroll early at whichever program he commits to.
Ranked, as the No. 2 outside linebacker and No. 3 player in Texas, Browning’s Crystal Ball currently favors the Longhorns.
