It’s been noted that five-star power forward P.J. Washington was slated to visit Kentucky, North Carolina, Arizona and Texas this fall, but the dates weren’t exact until today, per Washington’s Twitter:

Also well-documented has been Washington’s significant interest in playing for Texas and head coach Shaka Smart, whom he called “a wonderful human being,” after playing for the Team USA U18 squad, which Smart was the head coach of.
Obviously, for Smart to ultimately get the elite-level forward in burnt orange would mean outlast some of the nation’s premier programs, and after seeing four of his latest Crystal Ball projections favor UNLV, it’s safe to say the Running Rebels are a team to watch for, as well.
To that end, it’s worth noting there’s not really any reason for UNLV to receive an official visit, considering he plays for Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. He can visit basically anytime, and head coach Marvin Menzies will be glad to have Washington anytime.
But on a positive note for the ‘Horns, Texas could get the final impression, as Washington has said he wants to make his decision shortly thereafter his official visits. Washington’s October 28-30 visit schedule should mean he’ll be able to see Texas play Baylor at DKR, but his visits are all scheduled before basketball season kicks off.
