During Monday morning’s media availability, Texas head coach Charlie Strong noted that his Longhorns will enter next weekend’s road meeting with California with a clean slate of health after numerous starters missed the UTEP game.
Strong: All starters who were out against UTEP will play against Cal. #HookEm #Longhorns

The “all starters” for Texas includes running back D’Onta Foreman, tight end Caleb Bluiett, left tackle Connor Williams and right guard Kent Perkins, as well as safety Dylan Haines.
Texas will be on the road playing a game that starts at 9:30 if you’re in Texas, so simply playing at a time that will, to the team, be exceptionally late will pose it’s own challenges and all the bodies available are a bonus. And in a game that may see 160-plus plays between Texas and Cal’s up-tempo offenses, depth is a factor that will almost assuredly come into play.
