Texas Longhorns fans are known for traveling well and this weekend’s tilt against the California Golden Bears in Berkeley is no exception, as the school recently received 1,500 extra tickets from Cal.
Originally contracted for 4,000 tickets, the ‘Horns sold out and requested more. It’s possible that even more fans will attend the game after acquiring tickets directly from Cal or through the secondary market, so expect some healthy cheers from Texas fans when the ‘Horns make a play.
California Memorial Stadium currently seats 62,467 after a renovation in 2013 that reduced capacity by 719.
