In the least surprising development so far during the 2016 football season, the kickoff time for the Red Rivalry Showdown between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners is now set for 11:00 a.m. CT.
The October 8 contest at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas will be televised by FOX.
Last year, the ‘Horns shocked the No. 10-ranked Sooners with a 24-17 victory. In the all-time series, Texas holds a 61-44-5 lead.
