On Sunday evening, the Texas Longhorns will celebrate the 100th-anniversary of live mascot Bevo with the unveil of the 15th steer to bear the name.
And so less than 24 hours before the the newest version of the iconic mascot graces the field at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, president Greg Fenves provided the first look at Bevo XV in all his glory:

For his next public appearance, the newest Bevo will feature in his own Longhorn Network special at 5:00 p.m. CT, prior to making his game debut at DKR.
The first-ever Bevo was introduced during halftime of a Thanksgiving Day game against Texas A&M back in 1916, in which the Longhorns pulled off a 21-7 victory. A full century later, Bevo XV is set to become the latest to embody the Texas tradition.
