Over the last several years, Texas Longhorns defensive coordinator Vance Bedford has been outspoken about the lack of ideal fan support in the downward-trending program, but after a record-setting sellout crowd helped will the ‘Horns to a double-overtime victory against the No. 10-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday, he paid due credit to the burnt orange faithful:
