Up to this point, there hasn’t been a ton on Lawrence and his interest in Texas. But the athletic 6’7 small forward does have an official visit to Texas planned for October 21st.
The interest in Lawrence emphasizes the desire by Smart and Texas to continue to get athletic on the perimeter for his high-energy style of play he coaches.
At the moment, Smart’s 2017 class consists of verbal commitments from fellow four-star forwards Jericho Sims and Royce Hamm.
