Former Texas Longhorns cornerback Quandre Diggs was tuned into the ‘Horns game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday night, along with the rest of the country.
Diggs, now with the Detroit Lions, was asked about the match up in a segment called Ask a Lion.

Diggs says he was getting texts from Detroit teammate Golden Tate, of Notre Dame fame, during the game. He smartly chose not to respond until the win was secure.
“I got my bragging rights for the whole year for all of those guys, not just Golden, but all of the Notre Dame guys. They’re still a little butthurt over that.”
What was Tate saying in his texts? Trash talk, mostly.
“He was talking about, ‘what are your DB’s learning at Texas?’”
They learned enough to get the win, apparently.
