As seen, the Norfolk (Va.) native will visit Texas on Oct. 29, which will follow his visits to Duke, Stanford, Kansas and Syracuse.
For the majority of Coleman’s recruitment, Texas has been considered the team to beat, but recent offers from Duke and Kansas will certainly make landing the nation’s No. 9 point guard a considerably more difficult task. Fortunately for Smart, he’s been pursuing Coleman since his days at VCU and coached the Team USA U18 team that Coleman started on in Chile over the summer, so there’s some solid familiarity to that end.
