The 5’10, 160-pounder is a 2019 prospect and plays quarterback for his high school team, but will likely transition to slot receiver in college.
Currently unranked, Williams has seen his stock take off over the last year despite his youth — he already holds offers from more than 15 schools, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Syracuse, and Wisconsin, among others.
He camped in Madison last summer and then took an unofficial visit to Arkansas during the fall.
During the 2016 season, Williams completed 133-of-231 passes for 2,565 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions, while running the ball 109 times for 896 yards and 18 scores. A two-way standout, Williams also intercepted two passes on defense.
