The most important Texas Longhorns wide receiver target remaining on the board, Winter Park (Fla.)’s Jordan Pouncey, announced on Sunday evening that he will announce his National Signing Day commitment at 12:15 p.m. CT:

The 6’2, 185-pounder will post a commitment video of his choice between his four finalists — Miami, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Texas.

A former Fighting Irish pledge, Pouncey took an official visit to Austin on the second visit weekend in January before tripping to Knoxville this weekend. He has also been a frequent visitor in Coral Gables.

However, even though the Hurricanes were thought to be the favorite in the immediate aftermath of Pouncey’s December decommitment, the Longhorns surged in his Crystal Ball predictions following his visit to Texas.

In fact, head coach Tom Herman’s program held 67 percent of the nearly 40 predictions for the Sunshine State native on Sunday evening.

With TCU pledge Omar Manning sticking with the Horned Frogs and Herman’s staff unable to convince Colorado commit Chris Miller or Missouri commit Elijah Gardiner to visit campus, Pouncey is now the last target on the board for the Longhorns at the position.

If the current trajectory continues, that means Texas could get some big and much-needed news in the early afternoon on Wednesday.

Pouncey is a consensus three-star prospect ranked as the No 731 prospect nationally, the No. 106 wide receiver, and the No. 96 player in Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
