Recruiting never really stops and Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman, famous for having a grill made while coaching the Houston Cougars, has a pretty good idea of how to reach young, predominantly African-American football players — listen to the same music.
So it wasn’t a surprise last week when Herman tweeted out his respect for Georgia-based hip-hop group Migos:
My guys @Migos know how to build a program. #Culture #BadAndBoujee #HookEm https://t.co/O8Yg3kcQXe

The question was whether Herman actually listens to the group or if he was just taking advantage of the album release in an attempt to gain some credibility with recruits.
So Texas alum Emmanuel Acho, who has been doing work for the Longhorn Network, asked Herman about it.
Just met @CoachTomHerman, I asked him abt @Migos, "Bad & Boujee". He finished the lyrics. My conclusion, #Texas football is in GREAT hands.

Consider Herman has having passed the test.
