It is a Saturday night and it is cold. So cold. It's cold in Ames -- it will be in the single digits at tip off. It's cold where your friendly blogger lives -- it is just a few degrees warmer in relatively southern city of Cincinnati than it is in the typically far colder state of Iowa. Even in Austin, it is cold enough that you should probably cover some of the weird plants you keep outside that most of the rest of us who live in cooler climates can only contemplate owning.
But in Hilton Coliseum, it won't be cold. Because thousands of crazy Iowans will be cheering and booing (yes, there will be booing -- it is the Cyclone way) to keep warm.
Stay warm inside, and join us in the game thread.
