After taking advantage of a momentum-swinging play that negated a near touchdown and resulted in an injury to West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Will Grier that changed the complexion of the entire game, the Texas Longhorns pulled out a 28-14 victory in Morgantown.

TEXAS IS BACK TO BOWL ELIGIBILITY, Y’ALL!

For where Texas was just a few years ago, that was always well below the bare minimum. Now, it’s cause for some subdued celebration.

So take some time to feel good about Sam Ehlinger making some plays, the return of Connor Williams, and a defense that came through when it mattered the most in the fourth quarter — as well as most of the rest of the game.
