When the Texas Longhorns disembarked from the bus in Fort Worth prior to the big game against the TCU Horned Frogs, head coach Tom Herman emerged with a baseball bat and a ring on a chain around his neck:

Was he doing his best Negan impression? Ready to test his swing on some soft-tossed horned frogs? Getting ready to assault another locker?

The best guess of the Longhorn Network is that he’s paying homage to the World Champion Houston Astros and Carlos Correa. Not a bad way to send a message to all those high-ranked recruits in Houston, many of whom are already committed to Texas.
