As part of what’s set to be another loaded visit weekend on the Forty Acres, 2019 Notre Dame Preparatory (Az.) wide receiver Jake Smith arrived in Austin for an unofficial visit.

The rising Arizona product will be returning west with an offer from the Texas Longhorns in hand, he announced on Twitter.

A four-star prospect, Smith’s Texas offer is now his 19th, as he also holds invitations from Alabama, Arizona, UCLA, Washington State, Wisconsin and Penn State, among others. Furthermore, Smith now becomes the seventh 2019 wide receiver to pick up an offer from the Longhorns, and joins four-star Saint Louis (Mo.) Trinity Catholic product Marcus Washington as the two out-of-state talents Texas is in pursuit of.

A versatile offensive weapon, Smith totaled 118 carries for 1,135 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior, in addition to hauling in 33 receptions for 1,055 yards and 15 more scores.

A 6’1, 185-pound talent, Smith is ranked as the nation’s No. 176 player, No. 30 wide receiver and the No. 3 player in Arizona, per the 247Sports Composite.
