The Texas Longhorns offered the 6’5, 315-pounder in January of last year and then hosted him during a February Junior Day, so expect head coach Tom Herman and offensive line coach Derek Warehime to make Green a priority moving forward.
Other schools that could be in a strong position right now are Oklahoma and Texas A&M, which hosted the Houston-area product for unofficial visits this fall.
Green holds close to 20 offers, including Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, and UCLA. As he mentioned, LSU also remains in the mix.
The consensus five-star prospect is ranked as the No. 9 player nationally, the No. 2 offensive tackle, and the No. 1 player in Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
