The Horns are finally going to a bowl game.

"We have an opportunity to go play in a bowl for the first time in three years here," Herman said. "We are dead set in making it our mission in life to make sure that these seniors go out with a positive experience with a win in the bowl game. That sets us up with some momentum heading into the offseason."

Tom Herman believes Missouri is playing some of the best football in the country.

They're playing some of the best football of anyone in the country right now. The quarterback (Drew Lock) finished the season with the most touchdown throws of anybody in the FBS. They're playing really, really well defensively. I haven't watched them on video because I've been out recruiting. But just from the numbers, which are pretty gaudy. I want to commend Coach (Barry) Odom, this is a guy that has had some adversity early in his tenure there and has stayed the course, and has turned this season and this team around.

A bowl game win could give Texas a winning record. No matter what happens, this isn’t Herman’s end game.

A bowl appearance is not Tom Herman’s end game in Austin, but bringing a once-proud program back from the abyss takes time.

Shaka Smart takes his Texas team back to Virginia to play VCU.

Where would we be without him? Baker Mayfield is the best Big 12 Player in the history of the conference.

Jimbo Fisher better deliver a Natty soon or Aggies will not be happy.

Former Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino is suing the school for 38.7 million.
