Everyone prefers the gold table.

Should we make a football date on March 25th?

Tom Herman holds an interesting dinner party during spring football.

Head Coach Tom Herman and the rest of his coaching staff separated Texas players into three groups; gold, green, and crimson. If you were lucky enough to granted gold status dinner consisted of steak, chicken, shrimp, and cheesecake. The crimson group on the other hand were treated to burnt burgers and hot dogs.

Herman will be asking a lot from his QBs.

“It’s probably the only position in football where you have to teach scheme before you teach fundamentals,” Herman said. “You literally can’t get through a practice if your quarterback doesn’t know to open left or open right, look at this guy versus that guy in his read, so you teach the scheme first.”
