On Friday, the Texas Longhorns extended an offer to Independence (Miss.) William Chrisman defensive end Daniel Carson, the prospect announced on Twitter:

The consensus three-star prospect now holds close to 20 offers, including Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss, among others.

A 6’5, 260-pounder, Carson took visits last weekend to Ohio State and Louisville, has a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction to home-state Missouri, and is also considered high on Oklahoma.

Ranked as the No. 544 prospect overall, Carson is the No. 20 strong-side defensive end, and the No. 10 player in Missouri, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
