Daily Round Up: Stealing A Land Thief

It’s always a great day when an OU commit flips.

NCAA Football: Oklahoma Spring Game Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Tom Herman wants Sam Ehlinger to lead more.

Herman has areas where he wants to see his two scholarship quarterback grow between now and the start of training camp in August. For Ehlinger, Herman wants to see his personality and character traits to result in Ehlinger being able to provide quality leadership.

It is early, but Herman is compiling a great recruiting class.

The Longhorns jumped into the Top 25 on Sunday after landing three-star Seminole offensive lineman Reese Moore. Texas currently sits at No. 19 nationally with a score of 106.68. The Longhorns have five total commits — three four-stars and two three-stars.

It is always a good day when we steal a Sooner recruit. And even better, the guy is a Sooner legacy.

The women’s golf team won another Big 12 championship.

Texas small ball. The women’s softball team lost the Iowa State series and men’s baseball team took three games from New Orleans.

Good try, Bears. Hiring a female president will not wash the Baylor stench away.

The solution isn't quite that simple, however. It's not just about hiring a woman -- it's about hiring the right woman, and making sure she has the leeway to make significant, disruptive changes. Thus far, Baylor's and Livingstone's public statements regarding her hiring have given us no indication for how she plans to handle sexual assault cases -- and that in itself is a problem.

There will never be another coach like Bill Snyder.

And the pint of this is????? Jim Harbaugh takes the Michigan football team to Rome.
