Daily Round Up: Big Ten Hates Friday Football

And will Texas eventually join the Aggies in the SEC? (No.)

Herman’s tweets will tell you a lot about his priorities for next season.

The men’s basketball team has been snubbed in a way-too-early basketball poll.

The Land Thief paper of record thinks the Tom Herman hire was a home run for Texas.

Seems like a great hire on all counts. UT experience. State of Texas experience (Texas Lutheran, Sam Houston State, Texas State, Rice). State of Texas head coaching experience, with great success at Houston. Hard to imagine a better hire.

Lee Corso thinks Texas and Oklahoma might jump ship and head to the SEC just like A&M.

Corso said that, in regards to conference realignment, “there’s still some changes to come. I think the one place that’s got to be careful is the Big 12 conference. If the Big 12 doesn’t do something, I wouldn’t be surprised if Texas and Oklahoma leave 4-5 years from now and go someplace else just like Texas A&M did.”

Everyone say awwwww. Tom Herman is a romantic.

The Big Ten wants to schedule games on Friday night and people are not happy about it. An Iowa legislator does not like Friday night college football games. Northwestern isn’t buying into the Friday idea, either.

A former Sooner player and cheerleader have been accused of prostitution.
