The Texas Longhorns will be hosting a key visitor this weekend as St Louis (Mo.) Ritenour inside linebacker Ayodele Adeoye will make the trek from Missouri to the Forty Acres for an unofficial visit.

A four-star prospect, Adeoye picked up a Texas offer in late April and the ‘Horns have since been able to leave a big impression on the elite out-of-state target. In May, Adeoye listed the Longhorns in his top 10 just weeks after picking up his offer and Texas is currently in a great position with arguably its biggest linebacker target going forward.

It’s quite possible Adeoye leaves Austin much-improved higher on the Longhorns than he already is, which is critical considering he’s the only inside linebacker Texas has offered that hasn’t committed elsewhere or eliminated the ‘Horns from contention.
Furthermore, he’s yet another one of the nation’s premier prospects that may be boasting burnt orange before too long as the Longhorns recruiting momentum continues to gain steam. To date, Texas holds four of Ayoede’s five Crystal Ball projections.
At 6’2, 225 pounds, Ayeode ranks as the nation’s No. 124 player, No. 5 inside linebacker and the No. 4 player in Missouri, per 247Sports Composite.
