Some premier talent from around the state will be on the Forty Acres this weekend.

Just when it seemed as if recruiting momentum on the Forty Acres was beginning to cool, Tom Herman and the Texas Longhorns are once again set to host a massive weekend visit featuring several commits and key targets.

Barring a few exclusions, much of talent set to visit Austin this weekend are considered essential additions to wrap up an ideal 2018 recruiting haul. As is, seven Texas commits are slated to visit, along with another handful of Longhorn leans, and that’s just within the 2018 class.

Although no commitments are currently expected, a successful weekend should see Texas come out in a tremendously favorable position with many key targets after the coaches and commits spend the next couple days delivering their pitch.

Five-star wide receiver Terrace Marshall, four-star defensive tackle Bobby Brown and four-star athlete Jaqualyn Crawford are currently considered a ‘maybe’ for this weekend’s visit to Austin.
