Kyle Johnston will take the hill for the ‘Horns.
If you didn’t catch last night’s Longhorns vs. Dirtbags match-up, then you severely missed out. The ‘Horns ultimately came up victorious in a 12 inning thriller.
Long Beach State played in an elimination game this afternoon against No. 4 seed San Diego State and pulled it out 7-4.
The Dirtbags now must beat the Longhorns both tonight and tomorrow in order to advance. Texas just needs to win either tonight or tomorrow.
Whoever emerges from this regional will in all likelihood host the Super Regional round against No.2 seed Cal State Fullerton.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about where to watch the game. Unfortunately, the only option I know of at the moment is that you can catch it on ESPN 3. I’ll try to find a stream online if the match-up isn’t on TV.
Here is your BON preview of tonight’s game. This is your open thread.
UPDATE: The game is on ESPN News!
