2020 Houston North Forest wide receiver Demond Demas traveled to Austin on Tuesday for the Texas Longhorns minicamp and his visit resulted in another in-state offer, according to his trainer Rischad Whitfield.
Big congrats to @DemondDemas1 & @MarcusBanks1k on receiving @TexasFootball offers. Well deserved fellows

A rising target, a handful of programs from around the state and nation have began to show interest in Demas with offers from Baylor, Florida, Houston, Texas A&M and West Virginia all pouring in since May 5; an impressive rise after just one high school season.

Following his Tuesday night offer Demas became just the second 2020 prospect to pick up a Texas offer, joining Franklin (Tenn.) offensive tackle Jake Wray.
As Texas looks to secure the Houston-area going forward, expect the staff to slowly start prioritizing the fast-rising pass-catcher.
Demas is currently unranked.
