The Tom Herman era of Texas football kicks off in 50 days

September 2, 11 am. Darrel K. Royal Stadium. Austin, Texas.

The Longhorns will be rushing out of the tunnel for the first time under head coach Tom Herman. Texas will take on the Maryland Terrapins, a team that went 6-7 last season.

The ‘Horns will have history on their side against the Terps. In the three times the teams have met, Maryland has never even put up a score against Texas.

The Longhorns have won 26-0, 34-0, and 42-0.
