The Fort Bend Travis (Tx.) product is the No. 52 player and the No. 9 overall wide receiver in the 2019 class.
Henderson was previously committed to Oklahoma, and received a Texas offer on March 20.
Wide receiver is not a desperate area of need for the 'Horns in 2019 as Texas already has the pledges of stellar wideout commits in the 2018 class in Brennan Eagles, Rondale Moore, and Al'Vonte Woodard.
Still, landing Henderson would've been a huge kick start to a 2019 class that just received its first commit in four-star quarterback Roschon Johnson.
Henderson never seemed like an imminent commitment to the Longhorns, but many experts speculated that Texas was his leader. Crystal Ball predictions on 247 sports had were 44% Texas, 33% Oregon, 11% Oklahoma, and 11% "foggy".
All is not lost for the wide receiver position in the 2019 class. Texas is speculated as the leader for 2019 four-star receiver Jordan Whittington, the No. 45 overall player in the nation.
