The floor at the Erwin Center will have a new look this season when the Texas Longhorns tip off, as the large, white state of Texas covered by an oversized Longhorns logo at midcourt now simply includes the Longhorns logo by itself:

The other changes include new Big 12 logos below the free throw lines, no Longhorns logos at the corners of the court out of bounds, the addition of “The University of Texas” lettering along the top of the court, and what appears to be the use of gradient burnt orange/brown paint. The black outline around the logo at midcourt is also new.
So, Texas fans, is this an improvement?
