Ehlinger practiced all week with the first-team offense.
Out of high school, Ehilinger was the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback in the country after leading Austin Westlake High School to a state championship berth in his junior season. A knee injury ended his senior campaign after he led the Chaparrals to a 32-29 win over Katy.
Junior quarterback Jerrod Heard practiced with the quarterbacks all week, in the event Ehlinger cannot complete the game.
