Derrick Johnson and Brian Orakpo both had a sack in their Wildcard matchup. This week, Orakpo will face off against fellow former Longhorn defensive lineman in Malcom Brown.
Let’s take a look at how each NFL ‘Horn fared in the 1st round and who’s still playing in the Divisional games:
Wildcard Round
Saturday, January 6th
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans
Result: Titans 22, Chiefs 21
Derrick Johnson (LB-KC): Johnson was 2nd on the team in total tackles (8). Along with his eight tackles (six solo), he delivered a booming hit for a sack on Marcus Mariota. In what would of given the Chiefs the victory, Johnson had a go-ahead fumble recovery for a touchdown reversed due to the runners knee being down.
