Tom Herman and Texas Longhorns football may be assessing the JUCO and grad-transfer market for immediate impact offensive line help, but that doesn’t mean the ‘Horns aren’t also pursuing top offensive line talent for the future as well.
Texas offered 2019 4-Star offensive guard EJ Ndoma-Ogar on Friday evening, according to the Allen, Texas product’s Twitter.

Ndoma-Ogar is ranked as the composite No. 161 overall player in his class, the No. 6 OG, and the No. 22 player in Texas.
The 6’2.5, 305 pounder currently holds 32 other offers besides Texas, with the Oklahoma Sooners being regarded as the early favorite. Ndoma-Ogar received his offer from the Sooners last April and has taken two unofficial visits to Norman — once on July 29, and once on November 11.
The Allen High School junior also holds offers from other top-tier programs such as Georgia, USC, and Oregon.
On January 5, Ndoma-Ogar was invited to the 2019 U.S. Army All-American bowl after a dominant performance at the bowl’s National Combine. Ndoma-Ogar has been heralded not only for his excellent strength, but also his impressive footwork.
The Longhorns do not currently have an offensive line commit for 2019, but have extended six offers to o-linemen in the class.
