On this rare Austin snow day, Tom Herman has his mind set on the Sunshine State.

Texas Longhorns football offered five St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) prospects on Tuesday, four of whom are from the class of 2020, and one from the class of 2019.

Xavier Restrepo is a 2020 athlete out of Coconut Creek, Florida. The 5’10, 178-pounder plays a variety of positions, dominated at several positions at Monarch High School this season before transferring to St. Thomas Aquinas.

Restrepo recorded 11 catches for 141 yards, 27 carries for 301 yards, and even threw for two touchdowns in four passing attempts at Monarch in the fall. Additionally, the high school sophomore plays defensive back and earned four interceptions, 46 tackles, and 1.5 sacks.

Texas is Restrepo’s sixth offer, as the Florida product also holds offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State.

He is not ranked by recruiting services at this time.

Restrepo was not the only 2020 St. Thomas Aquinas receiver the ‘Horns are recruiting, as Texas also offered Marcus Rosemy on Tuesday.

Rosemy recorded two catches for 60 yards this season at the national powerhouse.

The 6’1, 175-pounder is not nationally rated yet, but holds eight offers in addition to Texas, including from the likes of Ohio State and Georgia.

Tom Herman’s love for St. Thomas Aquinas pass-catchers doesn’t stop there, as the ‘Horns also extended an offer to 2020 athlete Derek Wingo.

At 6’1 and 195 pounds, Wingo is currently listed as a tight end for St. Thomas Aquinas, but the unranked prospect could play anywhere from wide receiver to outside linebacker in college.

Wingo even played for quarterback at the varsity level for St. Thomas Aquinas last season, completing 48 of 101 attempts for 806 yards and seven touchdowns.

Wingo holds six offers in addition to Texas, including Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, and Pittsburgh.

Herman is clearly trying to obtain St. Thomas Aquinas’ entire 2020 receiving core, as the ‘Horns additionally offered Jovan Ferguson.

The athlete just announced his transfer to St. Thomas Aquinas this month from Booker T. Washington High School in Miami, and has already received his first four offers. In addition to Texas, Ferguson holds offers from UCF, Kentucky, and Syracuse.

At 5’10 and 160 pounds, Ferguson has played wide receiver, running back, and cornerback at the high school level. He is currently unranked by recruiting services.

The lone 2019 St. Thomas Aquinas prospect that the ‘Horns offered on Tuesday was cornerback Jaden Davis.

The 5’10, 162-pounder is a big-time recruit, and is ranked as the No. 188 and No. 18 CB in the class of 2019.

Though Tom Herman was able to get involved in the recruitments of the 2020 St. Thomas Aquinas prospects early, the same is not true of Davis. Texas was offer No. 40 for the Florida product, as Davis has offers from programs such as Florida, Miami, Michigan, and UCF.

Florida is currently seen as the favorite in Davis’ recruitment, as all four of 247 Sports’ expert predictions have Davis becoming a Gator.
