On the same day the Texas Longhorns offered 4-star 2019 wide receiver Kenyon Jackson, the ‘Horns also extended an offer to another elite pass-catcher from the same class.
Amite (La.) wide receiver Devonta Lee picked up an offer from the ‘Horns on Wednesday, according to Lee’s Twitter.

Texas is the 14th offer for Lee, joining blue bloods such as Florida, Florida State, Miami, and LSU. The Tigers are currently considered the favorite, as 247’s predictors currently believe Lee will want to stay in his home state of Louisiana.
Lee is ranked as the No. 43 overall player in the class of 2019 and the No. 9 wide receiver, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
At 6’2, 212 pounds, Lee employs a physical style of play, while also flashing a 4.41 40-yard dash.
Tom Herman is clearly making wide receivers a priority for the 2019 class, as nine other receivers in the class also hold offers in addition to Lee.
