The Texas Longhorns are back at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium for the first time since a 31-16 win over TCU, and the Baylor Bears won’t be the only guests in town.
Set to take in the action will be several Texas commits and key Texas targets from each of the next three classes.
Here’s a look at which future Longhorns and potential future Longhorns will be on the Forty Acres on Saturday:
2019
- Jordan Whittington — 4-star WR — Cuero — Texas commit
- Roschon Johnson — 4-star QB — Port Neches-Groves — Texas commit
- De’Gabriel Floyd — 4-star OLB — Westlake (Calif.) Village — Texas commit
- Peyton Powell — 4-star WR — Odessa Permian — OV
- Jalen Catalon — 4-star S — Mansfield Legacy
- Marques Caldwell — 3-star CB — Alvin — Texas commit
- Caleb Johnson — 3-star OLB — JUCO — OV — Decommitted from Iowa State on Tuesday
- Kennedy Lewis - 3-star WR — Melissa — TCU commit — OV
The Longhorns will host versatile Mansfield Legacy defensive back Jalen Catalon, who is heavily considering Arkansas, as well as TCU. Furthermore, Texas can take a significant step towards addressing the desire for a JUCO linebacker to join the class with Caleb Johnson officially visiting. Johnson entered the week as an Iowa State commit, but that changed on Tuesday, as he announced that he was re-opening his recruitment. If Texas gets a commitment this weekend, it likely comes from Johnson.

Sav’ell Smalls — 5-star OLB -- Seattle (Wa.) GarfieldKelee Ringo — 5-star CB — Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro- Logan Parr — 4-star OG — Helotes O’Connor

Elite Houston North Shore running back was a frequent on the Forty Acres throughout the offseason, but Saturday will mark his first trip to Texas this fall. The top-ranked 2020 running back and the No. 2 prospect overall, Evans is among the Longhorns most notable targets next cycle and with him on hand for a game for the first time this season, a strong ground game could lead to yet another strong impression.
2021
- Jake Garcia — 4-star QB — Narbonne (Calif.)
