Texas-Texas Tech game will be another six-day selection

Late in the season, the networks want to get the right games in the right time slots.

For the second straight week, Texas Longhorns fans will have to wait to learn the game time and television of an upcoming contest, as the networks are exercising their six-day selection window with multiple Big 12 games on November 10, including the game in Lubbock between the Horns and Texas Tech Red Raiders:

The Texas-West Virginia game didn’t receive its time slot and carrier until Sunday, so anyone planning on traveling to Lubbock will have to wait until next Sunday to learn the final specifics of that contest.

The good news is that the Longhorns can beat the Mountaineers and still hope to avoid a night game — a loss by the Red Raiders at home next weekend against the Sooners would likely do the trick.

Texas lost the last contest between the two teams to close the regular season in 2017, but does have a four-game winning streak in Lubbock.
