2020 Sammamish (Wa.) Eastside Catholic running back Sam Adams II is among the more highly coveted running back prospects in his class and on Monday night, the Washington product added an offer from the Texas Longhorns, he announced on Twitter.

The Texas invitation increases Adams’ offer count to 26, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, TCU, and Wisconsin among those in the mix.
Unsurprisingly, considering that Adams is the son of former Texas A&M and NFL defensive tackle Sam Adams, each of his first three Crystal Ball projections favor the Aggies.
A versatile prospect who plays both sides of the ball, Adams has totaled 449 yards and six touchdowns on 31 attempts this season, in addition to seven receptions for 98 yards and two more scores. Defensively, Adams has amassed 23 total tackles and three interceptions, which he’s returned for a total of 85 yards.
At 6’2, 200 pounds, Adams is ranked as the nation’s No. 341 player, No. 28 running back, and as the No. 6 player in Washington, per the 247Sports Composite.
