Texas offers 2021 SF Ben Gregg

The Portland product will likely have a lengthy list of potential suitors to consider by the end of his sophomore season.

Shaka Smart’s intrigue with out-of-state prospects was evident yet again on Wednesday, as the Texas Longhorns head coach put an offer on the table for 2021 Portland (Ore.) Columbia Christian Schools small forward Benn Gregg.

Now just one of five 2021 prospect with a Texas offer in hand, Gregg also owns invitations from Washington State, Portland, Portland State, and Eastern Washington.

However, Gregg recently told Prep Hoops that Gonzaga is his dream school, though he did add that he’s “just looking for a D-I school that’s really competitive and will help my game grow.”

As Gregg’s stock continues to rise entering his sophomore season, Texas being just the second major program to extend an offer could help the Horns remain a factor in his recruitment in the years to come.

At 6’8, 180 pounds, Gregg is currently unranked.
