Texas Longhorns freshman safety Caden Sterns went down in the second half with a head injury and and after being evaluated will not return to play due to a concussion.
Texas S Caden Sterns (concussion) will not return.
— Brian Davis (@BDavisAAS) November 11, 2018
The injury occurred when Sterns attempted to tackle a Texas Tech receiver and made incidental helmet-to-helmet contact. Sterns was visibly shaken after the play, left play and was evaluated for a concussion following the play.
If Sterns is unavailable to play next week, he would join a rapidly-growing list of Texas defenders listed on the injury report.
