There’s no basketball version of Bevo Blvd. or Longhorn City Limits, at least not for every game, but Texas Longhorns athletics announced on Tuesday that fans can now enjoy concessions at reduced prices at the Erwin Center this season.

The new lower prices drop the cost of the 10 most popular gameday concessions by an average of 30 percent.

There’s new “happy hour” pricing, too — between the time that the doors open and tipoff, a space of 90 minutes, Texas is offering $5 domestic beers and $6 premium beers.

The Horns begin a six-game homestand on Friday. It opens with Radford at 6 p.m. Head coach Shaka Smart’s former program, VCU, visits Austin on Dec. 5, while the season’s biggest non-conference game, against Purdue on Dec. 9, will feature a Bevo Blvd. pregame fan fest on the plaza north of the Erwin Center.
