One of the top 2020 prospects in the nation has made his decision and is set to announce on Jan. 5, Cedar Hill Trinity Christian cornerback Dwight McGlothern Jr. revealed in mid-December:
The 6’1.5, 180-pounder is a consensus five-star prospect who has been a key Texas Longhorns target since picking up his offer last January. Multiple visits to the Forty Acres, including his most recent trip for the Iowa State game, inspire some confidence, but Texas A&M is the heavy favorite after hosting McGlothern on numerous occasions.
Alabama and LSU are also in the mix.
Ranked as the No. 34 player nationally, McGlothern is the No. 4 cornerback and the No. 4 player in Texas in the 2020 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
