Ever since Many (La.) defensive end Myron Warren committed to the Texas Longhorns in late November, the lone concern has been whether the home-state LSU Tigers would extend an offer and convince Warren to stay close to home.
As of Tuesday afternoon, it appears that won’t happen, as Warren announced that he will sign on Wednesday:

The 6’3, 240-pounder was on campus in Austin over the weekend, so clearly the staff convinced him to put pen to paper on Early Signing Day and remove the possibility of LSU extending a late offer following the early signing period.
A high three-star prospect, Warren is ranked as the No. 447 player nationally, the No. 31 strong-side defensive end, and the No. 21 player in Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
